Job Description Seneca Specialty Package is looking for a dedicated Underwriting Assistant who would be responsible for the support of existing policies as well as the issuance of new policies. All work must be performed within departmental standards. The Underwriting Assistant supports various underwriting processes, including communication with our producers and other departments within the company to meet service needs. Additionally, the Underwriting Assistant must be able to work side-by-side with the Underwriters to maintain a common goal of growth and profitability. What will you do for
C&F:
Be able to work independently, as well as part of a team Be detail-oriented Manage tasks that are assigned in a date/time order Rate new business submissions Assist in the process of binding new business Order loss control inspections Order third-party reports as requested Examine renewals for auto-renewal qualification Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, ImageRight, and QuickSolver is a plus What you will bring toC&F:
High school diploma and a minimum of 3+ years of operations experience in a professional environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficient in various Microsoft software applications, such as Outlook. This position is located in Morristown or New York City. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $49,400.00 to a maximum of $72,500.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range.
