Responsibilities:

To assist with resident care by providing unit

• based services that do not require certification.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assists with resident food and hydration by passing trays, providing fresh water in rooms, providing hands-on dining assistance and overseeing the operations of the dining room at mealtimes. Assists with resident transportation by providing internal and out of the facility escort services as needed. Attends to resident personal clothing by performing laundry services, cleaning closets/dressers/drawers, labelling items as necessary. Attends to unit environmental needs by making unoccupied beds, keeping linen rooms/carts neat and orderly, keeping nourishment refrigerator clean and orderly, re-stocking supplies in residents rooms as needed. Assists with reducing clutter in resident rooms.
