SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHER

Responsibilities:

Teaching responsibilities include: high school Biology, IB Diploma Programme Environmental Systems and Societies, and middle school Physical Science Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to a range of learning styles. Create a positive, nurturing classroom atmosphere. Assess and monitor student progress. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student success. Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field. Strong communication and organizational skills. Passion for teaching and commitment to student development. Knowledge and background related to the NC Standard Course of Study (NCSCOS).

Preferred Qualifications:

NC Teaching certification. Previous teaching experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme or IB Middle Years Programme.
