UPS Store Associate

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a UPS Store Associate, where you'll be the friendly face that helps customers with their shipping, mailing, printing and retail needs. This role offers hands-on training, a fast paced environment, and the opportunity to grow with a new store opening. You'll support daily operations, provide excellent customer service, and help create a welcoming experience for every customer. Responsibilities Assist customers with shipping, mailing, printing, and retail product purchases using POS (Point of Sale) systems Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately while providing excellent customer service Promote and upsell store services and products through engaging product demos and personalized recommendations Maintain store merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Conduct product demos to educate customers on features and benefits of various offerings Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing clear information and directing calls efficiently Opportunity to grow into a supervisory responsibilities over time Requirements Previous retail sales, customer service or cashiering experience preferred but not required Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings if applicable Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced retail environment Weekend availability required.
