In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems that ensure critical power backup for various facilities. Your expertise will help keep essential operations running smoothly, providing reliable power solutions to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment, supporting the stability and safety of vital infrastructure. Duties Perform field service on UPS systems, including installation, maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal performance. Use hand tools and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems. Conduct equipment repairs and preventive maintenance on UPS units, batteries, and associated hardware. Assist with computer hardware setup, configuration, and network connections related to UPS systems. Follow safety protocols for low voltage electrical work and mechanical procedures during service tasks. Document all service activities thoroughly, including inspection reports, repair logs, and maintenance records. Skills Proven experience in field service or as a service technician working with electrical or mechanical equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on skills using hand tools and testing devices like ohmmeters. Familiarity with computer hardware, networking concepts, and schematics related to UPS systems. Ability to troubleshoot low voltage electrical circuits effectively and safely. Experience in equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and system diagnostics. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail during inspections and repairs. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and document technical procedures clearly.
