McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest, has an opening for a Used Equipment Sales Representative in our Region 2 and 3 Dealerships. Preferred home dealerships would be in our La Vergne , TN or Knoxville , TN dealerships.

  • Do you know your way around heavy equipment?
We need a sharp Used Equipment sales Representative to help us grow our market presence. You will be the go-to person for our used equipment, managing the whole process from finding customers to closing the deal. Proactively develop new business opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships Identify, negotiate, and close used equipment deals to meet and exceed targets A team player who can also work independently

  • Prospect and sell used construction and forestry equipment
  • Keep our media lines up to date with equipment, photos and information
  • Negotiate and maintain proper credibility with potential customers
  • Devise marketing strategies
  • Present products and services to prospective customers
Education, Skills & Knowledge Preferred:
Bachelor's degree (B. A./B.S.) in related field from four-year college or university and at least three years' experience in a management position Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Inventory software; Microsoft Outlook internet software and Order processing systems. Experience with ADP applications preferred. Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
