The Emissions Technician/ Shop Assistant position is a key role in ensuring the success of our business. A successful candidate will be expected to make an immediate impact by providing accurately performing emissions/ registration process, high-quality customer service, and handling credit card transactions quickly and efficiently. They should also be able to think on their feet and work in a fast-paced environment. We are busy and a long customer line is a normal day for us.

) For maximum success, you should: Be at least 18 to test cars. Have a valid Driver's License with access to reliable transportation. Be outgoing and enjoy making connections with customers and coworkers. Enjoy moving at a fast pace and preform tests accurately and quickly. Not be intimidated by a long customer line all day. Perform emissions tests and registrations in accordance with county, state, and Easy Emissions policies and standards. Learn about vehicle powertrain and emissions systems. Have prior customer service experience. Accurately enter data into computer systems. Know how to navigate a computer and process payments quickly. Answer the phone and respond to emails. Be a multi-tasker, a self-starter, team player, and friendly. Enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Have a high school diploma or equivalent. Be available to work every Friday and Saturday. All employees are required to work the last working day of every month. Full time 40 hours a week. Closed Sundays.
Essential Physical Requirements:
Standing for prolonged periods of time. Working outdoors in variable weather conditions. Getting on the ground and inspecting under vehicles. The ability to communicate well in person and on the phone. Lifting up to 50lbs. Light cleaning.
