Position Information Position Title Basic Needs Center Specialist I Requisition Number H00276P Position Category Hourly/Work Study Campus Location Weber State University - Ogden, UT Hours per week 20 Months per year Alternate work schedule Pay Grade Salary Hourly Pay Rate $ 12.00 FLSA Job Summary/Basic Function Employee will provide help to students visiting the Student Support & Resource center including scheduling appointments for Financial Literacy / FAFSA Help, answering phones, navigation of basic needs and campus resources, and supporting the leadership team with projects and events. Closed on Holidays and in between semesters. Required Qualifications Seeking applicants with the following skills and abilities: Self-starter; energetic and outgoing; customer service oriented; ability to organize; excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills; Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Use of arm and/or leg controls exerting forces greater than that for sedentary work. Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision. Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading. The conditions the worker will be subject to in this position. The worker is subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
