A Military Specialist operates and maintains vehicles and mechanical equipment pertinent to mission success, whether on the sea, land or in the air. May monitor communication, detection, or weapons systems during operations. Interprets and evaluates tactical situations, making recommendations to supervisors. May operate weapons targeting, firing, and launch systems whether during combat or peacetime. In addition to their combat training, they have also specialized training in swimming, diving, parachuting, survival, emergency medicine, and foreign languages. Duties include conducting advanced reconnaissance operations and collecting intelligence information; recruiting, training, and equipping friendly forces; conducting raids and invasions on enemy territories; laying and detonating explosives for demolition targets; locating, identifying, defusing, and disposing of ordnance; and operating and maintaining sophisticated communications equipment.

This position provides advanced instruction, curriculumdevelopment, training management, and operational expertise for Special Boat Team (SBT) personnel operating withinthe Naval Special Warfare surface mobility community. The successful candidate will augment active-duty training cadre by delivering classroom and practical instruction,supporting combat systems integration efforts, coordinating logistics and scheduling, and ensuring training remainsaligned with current operational requirements and emerging technologies. Duties and Responsibilities Provide expert-level

instruction to Special Boat Teams (SBTs) conducting operations within the Naval Special Warfare surface mobility community. Deliver classroom, hands-on, and scenario-based instruction supporting Individual Deployment Training Cycle (IDTC) requirements. Assist in the development, maintenance, and execution of training schedules, lesson plans, and curriculum management activities. Support logistical planning and coordination throughout the IDTC to ensure training objectives are met. Augment active-duty NSW training cadre with specialized operational knowledge and instructional expertise. Assist with liaison and coordination efforts with NSWG-4 and other Special Operations organizations to identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies and capabilities into SBT training programs. Support echelon IV combat systems integration initiatives and associated training requirements. Evaluate student performance and provide mentorship, coaching, and remediation when necessary. Ensure training materials, instructional methods, and operational procedures comply with current NSW doctrine, policies, and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Participate in curriculum reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain operational relevance and training effectiveness. Assist with after-action reviews, lessons learned collection, and training assessments. Required Qualifications S. Citizen. Senior Qualification must not have been revoked or removed for administrative or disciplinary reasons. Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Navy/Naval Special Warfare Instructor .
