MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS NFHS

Coaches Certification, OSAA Certifications (Can be obtained after hiring) High school Graduate Previous successful coaching experience Skills in working positively with adolescents Understanding of successful teaching strategies Good communication skills Successful completion of fingerprint screening First Aid CPR training

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Teach fundamentals of Wrestling Plan and supervise practices and games Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school personnel

GENERAL AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

Assume a supervisory and teaching role with athletes Design practices to build match skills and strategies Cooperate with CHS faculty and staff Oversee high school wrestling program Facilitate youth wrestling program

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED

High school teaching experience High school varsity wrestling experience Coaching Stipends paid at the end of the season. Actual dollar amount varies based on experience and step placement in accordance with the certified bargaining agreement, Extra Duty Salaries.
