To Be Determined Job Description Creswell School District is seeking an Assistant Varsity Cross Country Coach to join the outstanding coaching staff at Creswell High School for the 2026-2027 school year. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

NFHS Coaches Certification, OSAA Certifications (Can be obtained after hiring) High school Graduate Previous successful coaching experience Skills in working positively with adolescents Understanding of successful teaching strategies Good communication skills Successful completion of fingerprint screening First Aid CPR training

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Teach fundamentals of Cross Country Plan and supervise practices and meets Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school personnel

GENERAL AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

Assume a supervisory and teaching role with athletes Design practices to build skills and strategies Cooperate with CHS faculty and staff Oversee high school cross country program

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED

High school teaching experience High school varsity Cross Country experience Coaching Stipends paid at the end of the season. Actual dollar amount varies based on experience and step placement in accordance with the certified bargaining agreement, Extra Duty Salaries.
