Join us in engineering tomorrow's mobility today. The Test Driver, under the direction of Lead Driver/Facility Coordinator performs various driving test on new vehicle not out in the public market.

Shift:

7:00 AM•3:30 PM, M-F and weekends possible (1st Shift)

Pay Rate:

$17.00 an hour

Job Duties:

Drive approved durability schedules in accordance with all established procedures. Prepare accurate Drivers Reports on a daily basis. Perform other related driving / vehicle preparation work as required. Such work includes vehicle shuttling, detailing, etc. Assists with clerical work or other jobs as required by Supervision. Follow policies and procedures of both Bertrandt Engineering. Act as a mentor to other drivers if assigned to do so.

Ability to complete concise and accurate documentation. Promote safety awareness and assure compliance with all safety practices. Communication skills, verbal and written, are a priority.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Four (4) years licensed driving experience. Driving record must be clear. Knowledge of vehicle components, systems, and operating procedures. Ability to drive an automatic transmission proficiently, knowledge of manual transmission is a plus.
