Job Description
Vendor Development Lead Honex - Walla Walla, WA (In-Office) Part-Time (10-20 hrs/week) → Full-Time Possible Within 120-180 Days Honex is a managed site-services infrastructure company serving General Contractors. We contract directly with GCs and subcontract execution to vetted local vendors (fencing, portable restrooms, dumpsters, and additional services). We are hiring a Vendor Development Lead to help build and pressure-test our vendor acquisition and onboarding system. This is not high-volume sales. This is a foundational role focused on building the vendor side of the company correctly. What You'll Do Conduct structured phone and Zoom conversations with vendor owners Present the Honex managed-services model clearly and confidently Confirm vendors are direct operators (not brokers or intermediaries) Walk vendors through onboarding and pricing setup Validate operational commitment (small jobs, structured workflows, responsiveness) Identify objections, pricing risk, and structural non-fits Document all conversations and signals inside CRM Help build a repeatable vendor pitch and onboarding workflow Coordinate with leadership and the CMO to refine messaging and communication loops This role is about disciplined vendor alignment — not volume. Operating Environment Honex is an early-stage company. Processes will evolve. Messaging will be refined. Strategy may pivot. You must be comfortable operating in ambiguity, building structure inside change, and thinking critically when information is incomplete. You will not be handed a finished system. You will help build it.
