Venue Attendant

Rustic Grace Estate is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Venue Attendant to serve as the on-site representative during events. This role is responsible for ensuring the venue itself is operating seamlessly—from cleanliness and setup to vendor coordination and overall flow. As the venue's eyes and ears on event days, you will support a polished, professional environment while allowing planners, vendors, and clients to execute their vision. This is a hands-on role that requires awareness, initiative, and a strong sense of accountability. Key Responsibilities Serve as the on-site venue representative during events, ensuring all venue standards are upheld Oversee venue readiness, including setup completion, cleanliness, and overall presentation of indoor and outdoor spaces Conduct opening and closing duties, including walkthroughs and end-of-night checklists Monitor the property throughout events to ensure spaces remain clean, stocked, and functioning properly Act as a point of contact for vendors regarding venue-related needs (access, layout, power, etc.) Support light setup adjustments and resets as needed throughout the event Enforce venue policies professionally and consistently (timelines, restricted areas, alcohol guidelines, etc.) Identify and address issues proactively to prevent disruptions to the event Assist with trash removal, restocking supplies, and maintaining restroom cleanliness during events Document any damages, incidents, or notable event details for post-event reporting Qualifications Previous experience in events, hospitality, or venue operations preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs before they arise Calm, professional demeanor with the ability to problem-solve quickly Comfortable working evenings and weekends (event-based schedule required) Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and lift up to ~30 lbs Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and guests What We're Looking For Someone who takes ownership of their role and treats the venue like it's their own A team player who is proactive rather than reactive A polished, professional presence that reflects the Rustic Grace brand Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment Position Details Part-time, event-based hours (primarily evenings and weekends) Opportunity for growth within venue operations and event management Hands-on experience in the wedding and events industry
