Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our dynamic veterinary team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive medical care, diagnosis, and treatment for a diverse range of animals, ensuring their health and well-being. Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess health status and diagnose medical conditions using veterinary terminology and animal physiology knowledge. Perform medical procedures including animal restraint, animal catheterization, and aseptic techniques to ensure safe and effective treatment. Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments tailored to each animal's needs while maintaining detailed medical records. Assist with animal husbandry tasks such as grooming, feeding, and maintaining proper animal care standards. Handle animal handling and dog handling with patience and professionalism to minimize stress during examinations or procedures. Collaborate with laboratory teams to process diagnostic tests, interpret results, and implement appropriate treatment plans. Educate pet owners on animal care, nutrition, behavior, and post-treatment instructions to promote ongoing health management. Qualifications Veterinary degree from an accredited institution with valid licensing or certification to practice veterinary medicine. Proven veterinary experience with a focus on critical care is highly desirable. Strong animal handling skills across various species including dogs and equines. Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and physiology essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment. Experience in laboratory procedures and aseptic techniques is preferred. Ability to perform pet grooming, animal restraint, and laboratory testing confidently. Prior experience in veterinary critical care or emergency settings is a plus.
