As a large general practice, we handle a diverse caseload, providing everything from routine wellness exams to advanced treatments. Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety. Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures. Monitor and report changes in patient condition, alerting the team as needed. Perform basic animal care tasks such as feeding, cleaning, and preparing patients for exams. Ensure exam rooms and treatment areas are clean, stocked, and organized. Assist with patient handling and restraint in a gentle and professional manner. Educate clients on general pet care, wellness, and preventative treatments.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a veterinary setting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Strong commitment to patient care and an understanding of animal behavior. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team. Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
