• Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Assist with filing and maintaining patient records
• Handle payments and billing inquiries
• Provide basic information on pet care and veterinary services
• Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and other staff members
• Knowledge of animal restraint techniques
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures in a veterinary clinic
• Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans Advanced Clinical Skills (Preferred but Not Required)
• Perform venipuncture and blood draws in cats and dogs
• Monitor patients under anesthesia and report abnormalities
• Assist with dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing
• Take diagnostic radiographs (x-rays) with proper positioning and safety protocols Work Environment
• Fast-paced clinic or hospital setting
• Exposure to animals of all temperaments and medical conditions
