Veterinary Assistant

We are a small, one doctor veterinary clinic that focuses on customer service and patient care. We practice Fear Free methods to aid in the reduced fear, anxiety and stress of our patients and by extension our clients and staff, as well. We are a busy practice that offers a family type setting for our staff and clients alike. We value loyalty, honesty and compassion. And we are looking for YOU! You will be working part-full time as one of our veterinary assistants. You are a people person who is sincere and compassionate. You keep busy, offer help to your team members and always wear a smile. You love to learn new things and are savvy with computers. You are dependable and a team player. You can thrive under the stress of a fast paced schedule. You have a flexible schedule with the potential to work additional hours, or days, when needed. Our veterinary assistants and technicians support the doctor and other team members with appointments, surgeries, and other treatments. We all pitch in with front desk duties, including making appointments, cashing out clients, answering phones, filing and entering medical records into the computer. Everyone is expected to help in walking dogs. We are looking to fill the morning shift during the week. You will be required to work every other Saturday and holiday kennel shifts are scheduled on a rotating basis. We are offering a starting hourly wage of $15-23/hour, depending on experience, with the potential for a raise after the end of your 90 day introductory period. At which point we also offer discounted veterinary care and services.
