Veterinary Assistant OVERNIGHT

VCA TLC Pasadena Veterinary Specialty and Emergency is looking for a Veterinary Assistant for overnight shifts! $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

4 X 10 hour shift: Swing or Overnight; Weekend availability required

Experience:

Veterinary and ICU experience: 3 years (Preferred)

Overnights Dependent on education, experience, credentials, location, nature of practice, schedule, and additional responsibilities. Shift Differential Pay for Swing and Overnight available

Responsibilities:

Assist doctors with exams, treatments, and procedures Venipuncture and IVC placement Administer SQ fluids, medications, etc. Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients are receiving the best possible care and communicating frequently with the team . Recognize subtle change in clinical status Discharge instructions with clients Complete estimates, basic record keeping Surgical preparation Anesthesia monitoring Advanced Phlebotomy Monitoring Ventilator Cases Apheresis Diagnostic imaging (radiographs and assisting with ultrasounds)
