Shipping Lead

Join Our Team as a (1st shift) Shipping Lead at Direct Wire & Cable! As a Shipping Lead , you'll play a key role in our distribution operations—overseeing daily order processing, coordinating with customer service, and ensuring timely and accurate shipments. You'll also train and coach team members, maintain safety standards, and support continuous improvement in our shipping processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced scan gun operation including PO receipt. Tow motor and high lift equipment operation. Advanced packing and order preparation which includes wrapper operation and small package shipping. Basic packaging and labeling of finished products. Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area Responsible for communication and assisting in cross-training

Skills:

High school diploma or GED. Ability to read and interpret routine instructions Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations Organized and ability to problem solve in an industrial environment Ability to operate material movement and packaging equipment Ability to communicate/work with coworkers to achieve common production goals.
