VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST
Head Veterinary Services — Aubrey, TX | In Person | Full-Time $16.00
  • $20.00 / hr based on experience

ABOUT THE PRACTICE
We are a private, one-doctor Fear Free practice focused on companion and exotic animal care. Being privately owned means we do things the right way — no unnecessary overtime, no overloaded schedules, and genuine respect for your life outside of work. We are building something better in veterinary medicine and want teammates who are in it for the long haul.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Greet clients, collect intake information, and guide them through the Fear Free check-in process. Maintain accurate medical records; contact clients regarding appointments and communicate medical information clearly. Support the team and leadership in maintaining a professional, communicative, and positive work environment. Manage scheduling, office systems, and equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and veterinary medical records software required.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
2+ years of veterinary reception experience (required) Dependable, organized, and able to stay on task in a structured environment Comfortable handling or learning to handle cats, dogs, reptiles, birds, amphibians, fish, small mammals, and invertebrates Strong written and verbal communication with clients and team Fear Free certification a plus — training provided if not yet certified
SCHEDULE 4
days/week, 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday Currently closed all weekends and major holidays
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Pay:
$16.00

MEET DR. HEAD
Dr. Valerie Head practices high-quality medicine with a Spectrum of Care approach across a wide range of species. She is passionate about client education, preventive care, and soft tissue surgery. She genuinely involves her staff in patient education and care, mentors her team, and wants everyone to grow alongside the practice.
