Veterinary Receptionist / Client Care Coordinator - Country Lane Animal Hospital (Clyde, NC) Country Lane Animal Hospital —an independently owned mixed-animal veterinary practice with a long history of trusted client relationships—is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist/Client Care Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, compassionate, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You'll be the first point of contact for our clients, helping ensure a positive experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first friendly face and voice for clients via phone, text, email, and in-person interactions Schedule and coordinate appointments for small-animal and farm/ambulatory calls, including urgent same-day fit-ins Guide clients through the visit process , from check-in to check-out, with excellent customer service Maintain accurate medical records, process payments, and handle prescription refill requests Ensure the lobby remains clean, welcoming, and organized Collaborate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to support efficient, quality care

Qualifications:

Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic) Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a busy environment Prior experience in a veterinary or medical reception role preferred Familiarity with veterinary terminology and practice management software is a plus Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented mindset

Schedule & Compensation:

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm , with one fixed weekday off (no weekends) Competitive hourly rate: $14.75 - $15.75/hour , based on experience
