Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant

About us Healthy Heart Veterinary Clinic is a small business in Loudon, NH. We are a professional, dedicated, family-oriented private practice. We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant with a passion for customer service and an interest in working with animals. The receptionist will be responsible for greeting clients and checking them into our clinic and will be the first point of contact when any issues arise. Our receptionists must have excellent customer service skills, a caring attitude, and an eye for detail. They must also enjoy working with animals, able to perform basic restraint and preparing vaccines for the patients. The ability to do patient approved treatments is required. The candidate should be able to effectively perform their job without supervision. We are a fast-paced one doctor practice with a newer facility located in beautiful Loudon, NH. Responsibilities:

Answer inbound telephone calls quickly and efficiently and in a professional and friendly manner. Customer service functions, including greeting visitors and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms. Keep track of pets' files and check in pets before examination. Scheduling and confirming appointments. Basic triage of patients Handles payment transactions. Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various tasks Hospital maintenance and ensuring that facility is always neat and clean—both inside and outside. Must be a team player

Skills Required:

Animal restraint Animal handling Veterinary assistant experience Pet care knowledge Familiarity with veterinary procedures Laboratory experience
