Job Summary Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Technician, where your passion for animal care and technical expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners. We're looking for a an experienced leader to help guide daily clinical flow, mentor teammates, and ensure our patients receive exceptional care in a fast-paced, team-focused veterinary hospital. If you're ready to move beyond doing the work and start helping lead the work, we want to meet you. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures by preparing instruments and monitoring patient status. Perform animal restraint and handling using proper techniques to ensure safety for both animals and staff. Conduct laboratory tests, including sample collection, processing, and analysis to aid in accurate diagnosis. Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure a sterile environment. Manage dental procedures by understanding dental terminology, assisting with cleanings, extractions, and oral health assessments. Operate radiology equipment such as X-ray machines to produce clear images for diagnostic purposes. Support pet owners with pet care advice, grooming tips, and post-procedure instructions to promote ongoing animal health. Experience At least 5 years of previous veterinary medical experience. Certified veterinary technicians are preferred Laboratory experience including sample processing or diagnostic testing is preferred. Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques. Hands-on experience with X-ray operation and interpretation supports accurate diagnostics in a fast-paced environment. Join us in a rewarding role where your skills directly impact animal health! Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
