Description Veterinary Technician - Dentistry Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists Scottsdale, AZ Join a Specialty Team Focused on Advanced Dental Care Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our growing dental and oral surgery team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys anesthesia, surgery support, and dental procedures, and wants to build specialized skills in a supportive, team ‑ focused environment. You'll work alongside experienced doctors in a practice dedicated to exceptional patient care, client education, and continuous learning. Why This Role Stands Out Hands ‑ on experience in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery Strong focus on anesthesia and patient safety Supportive, close ‑ knit team environment Access to Thrive's national training and career growth resources Opportunity to develop advanced technical skills in a specialty setting What You'll Do As a Veterinary Technician on our dental team, you'll support patient care from intake through recovery, including: Assisting with dental procedures and oral surgeries Performing dental radiographs, charting, and cleanings (scaling & polishing) Monitoring anesthesia and supporting patient safety throughout procedures Providing pre ‑ operative and post ‑ operative patient care Handling and restraining patients safely and compassionately Collecting samples and supporting diagnostics as needed Educating clients on at ‑ home dental care and procedures Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment notes Supporting hospital workflow and maintaining a clean, organized environment What We're Looking For Required Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician or assistant experience with direct patient care Comfortable with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Ability to work in a fast ‑ paced, team ‑ oriented environment Preferred
LVT/RVT/CVT
