Vice President of Construction Prattville, AL 36066 From $150,000 a year - Full-time From $150,000 a year - Full-time Florida/ Alabama (On-Site) Jadecrest Development Group, an extension of Bella Vita Ventures and Blue Ocean Hotels, is building a scalable in-house construction platform to support a growing pipeline of branded hotel developments across the Southeast. We are seeking a Vice President of Construction to lead this initiative—someone who can build the division from the ground up, drive execution, and establish the systems and team required to deliver 1-2 ground-up hotel projects every other year. This is not a traditional role. It is an opportunity to own and shape a construction platform within a vertically integrated hospitality group. What You'll Do Lead end-to-end construction execution (preconstruction through closeout) Build and scale the internal construction division Establish processes, systems, and operational controls Oversee budgets, schedules, and cost performance Manage subcontractor bidding, negotiation, and contracts Ensure compliance with all codes, regulations, and safety standards Coordinate with architects, engineers, brand teams, and ownership Drive quality control, risk management, and delivery timelines Provide clear reporting on project progress, cost, and performance Active General Contractor License (Required - Alabama & Florida) 8-12+ years of commercial construction experience Proven track record in ground-up projects (hospitality preferred) Strong expertise in project management, budgeting, and cost control Experience managing subcontractors and negotiating contracts Leadership ability to build and lead teams Deep understanding of construction processes and compliance Strong communication and organizational skills
