VILLAGE DEPUTY CLERK-TREASURER

The Village of Hammondsport is seeking a qualified, organized individual to fill a Full-Time, 35 hours per week, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer position. The primary duties are, but not limited to, grant coordination, managing fiscal operations and including accounting and financial reporting. Responsibilities are cash management, budget monitoring and ensuring compliance with state regulations. Additional responsibilities may include water billing and collection, planning and zoning preparation, meetings, code enforcement support, customer assistance, maintaining records and assisting Village Clerk-Treasurer.

Qualifications :

Associate's degree in accounting or finance; municipal experience and grants management preferred. Skills in customer service, computer (Microsoft Office), and the ability to handle multiple tasks and establishing priorities are a must.
