Category Schools - Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing - Telehealth Job Type Contract A contracted opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing specializing in telehealth services. This role involves providing teletherapy support to two students requiring consultative services, totaling approximately 8 hours per month. The position is based in Keene, NH, and supports educational programming through remote service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting teletherapy sessions tailored to the needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing Collaborating with school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Providing consultative support to students, families, and educators to promote effective communication and learning strategies Maintaining detailed documentation of services and student progress in compliance with educational standards Participating in team meetings and professional development as needed Desired qualifications and experience: Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Experience with telehealth or teletherapy service delivery in educational settings Strong knowledge of communication methods and assistive technologies for deaf/hard of hearing students Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams remotely Excellent organizational and communication skills This position offers the flexibility of remote service delivery combined with a meaningful impact on student learning.
