We are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President of Marketing & Communications to help elevate our brand, expand our reach, and deepen our impact across the communities we serve. Position Summary The Vice President of Marketing & Communications is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing, branding, and communications strategy that advances organizational mission, visibility, and growth. This role will drive brand awareness, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and amplify key initiatives through compelling storytelling and strategic outreach. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute an integrated, agency-wide marketing and communications strategy aligned with organizational goals. Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to overall strategy and decision-making. Establish measurable KPIs and evaluate performance across all marketing initiatives. Branding & Messaging Ensure consistent, high-quality brand representation across all platforms and materials. Strengthen the organization's visibility through strategic storytelling and messaging frameworks. Manage brand standards, creative assets, and marketing materials across all locations. Marketing & Digital Strategy Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns including digital, social, email, and print. Lead website strategy, content development, and digital presence optimization. Maintain an integrated communications calendar to ensure alignment and execution. Public & Media Relations Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and community partners. Lead public relations efforts, including press releases, interviews, and crisis communications. Oversee development and distribution of the annual Impact Report. Development & Community Engagement Partner with the Development team to support fundraising, donor engagement, and events. Create donor-facing materials and support recruitment campaigns for volunteers and participants. Represent the organization at community events and public engagements. Events Leadership Provide strategic oversight for organizational events and supervise event leadership. Ensure marketing efforts maximize attendance, revenue, and community impact. Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing and communications team. Manage external vendors, consultants, and creative partners. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented culture. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field (master's preferred). 8-10+ years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, communications, or public relations. Proven success developing and executing strategic marketing plans. Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations strongly preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong strategic thinking and leadership capabilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Expertise in digital marketing and multi-channel campaigns Strong project management and organizational skills Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders Creative, data-driven, and results-oriented mindset Additional Requirements Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the 10 county footprint (~40%).
