This is an in-person position based in Riverside, CA. This position will supervise and collaborate with our Purchasing Manager on site, as you will oversee the national procurement process. Strong knowledge of imports, procurement, and inventory management is critical, as this role directly impactsinventory levels, production flow, and sales efficiency nationwide. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), this individual will align manufacturing operations with company objectives, drive continuous improvement, and ensure scalable, cost-effective production that supports long-term growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a cohesive manufacturing strategy that promotes efficiency, quality, and profitability. Lead plant operations by implementing lean methodologies, safety standards, and best-in-class practices across all sites. Standardize production systems and KPIs to ensure consistent output and accountability. Build and mentor high-performing plant leadership teams, ensuring strong talent pipelines and effective performance management. Strong knowledge in imports, procurement, and inventory management ( preferably in metals ) Oversee national procurement process and Purchasing Manager Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, R D, and Finance to support product development, innovation, and capacity planning. Deliver monthly operational and financial performance reports to the ELT, with actionable insights and recommendations. Contribute to corporate strategy and participate in executive decision-making to support revenue and market expansion goals.

Travel:

Up to 25%. Position is primarily in Office Qualifications 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in metal manufacturing, preferably across multiple facilities. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred). Expertise in lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at the executive level. Willingness to travel regularly to Peggs facilities (up to one week per month).
