Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead VPK teacher, Preschool 3 Assistant, and School Age Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidates will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational experiences. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the early learning experiences of children, ensuring they are prepared for future academic success. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment. Provide individualized attention to students, addressing their unique needs and learning styles. Incorporate teaching physical education into daily activities to promote health and wellness. Facilitate early intervention strategies for children requiring additional support. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall learning experience. Create a safe and welcoming daycare environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Utilize Montessori methods or similar approaches to foster independent learning among students. Document student progress through assessments and observations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with young children in an educational or daycare setting is essential. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support diverse learners. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized and effective learning space. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods, including Montessori principles. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their growth and development.
