Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated VPK Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves leading classroom activities, developing curriculum, and ensuring the well-being of all students while promoting their academic and social growth. Hours are 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Mon-Friday or 7AM - 12:30 Monday - Friday Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum that meets the educational needs of students. Lead classroom activities that promote childhood development and encourage active participation. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative learning environment. Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles. Ensure a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere that prioritizes child welfare. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience within the private school setting. Mentor and guide assistant teachers in instructional practices and classroom management. Qualifications CDA with Florida VPK endorsement required! Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to develop innovative curriculum that aligns with educational standards. Previous experience with CLASS assessments a plus. A genuine passion for educating young children and contributing positively to their growth There is an opportunity to become the Assistant Director if desired.
