About Camp Korey Camp Korey is a nonprofit overnight camp in Mount Vernon, WA serving children and families living with serious and complex medical conditions. Our mission is to create safe, joy-filled camp experiences where kids can simply be kids. Our nurse volunteers are essential to making that possible. Position Summary Nurse Volunteers support our Spring and Summer overnight programs by providing medical oversight at higher-risk activity areas, including Archery, Pool, and Rock Wall — and offering support to campers and families as needed. Your expertise helps ensure every camper can fully and safely participate in the magic of camp. This is a meaningful volunteer experience. You'll work alongside an exceptional medical team and make a direct, life-changing impact for kids and families. This is a volunteer position. Volunteers receive no wages, salary, or monetary compensation of any kind. Meals and lodging during your session are provided as part of the camp experience. Who We're Looking For We are seeking Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our volunteer medical team. What You'll Do Provide nursing presence and oversight at higher-risk activity areas (Archery, Pool, Rock Wall, and others) Support campers with complex medical needs during program activities Assist the medical team in responding to camper and family health needs as they arise Help create a safe environment where campers can fully participate Volunteer Requirements Completed volunteer application Active nursing licensure (RN or LPN) Up-to-date immunizations Cleared background check Time Commitment We are primarily seeking volunteers who can commit to a full weekend or session. Some flexibility may be available depending on session needs.
