Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the OpenTable system or cash register. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring that all orders are correct and meet quality standards. Provide recommendations on menu items to enhance the dining experience and drive sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. Qualifications Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, particularly in high-volume settings such as nightclubs or casual dining establishments. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Excellent time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks during busy shifts. Familiarity with cash register operations and basic sales techniques is advantageous. Knowledge of culinary practices and food handling safety is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the restaurant's operating schedule.
