Job Overview:
The Warehouse, Fleet & Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing the company vehicle fleet, and leading delivery and installation teams for hot tubs, swim spas, and related products. This role ensures efficient inventory management, safe and timely deliveries, proper fleet maintenance, and an exceptional customer experience throughout the delivery and installation process.
Pay Range:
$65,000 - $75,000 /Base Salary Compensation within range to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge and skills, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and support the delivery and warehouse teams in receiving shipments, stocking inventory, staging outgoing orders, and completing backyard deliveries. Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members to maintain high standards of operational performance, customer service, and technical knowledge. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to improve team effectiveness. Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards. Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment focused on customer satisfaction. Collaborate closely with sales, service, and leadership teams to coordinate daily operations and priorities. Lead and schedule delivery crews to ensure safe, professional, and customer-focused deliveries and installations. Coordinate and perform pre-delivery site inspections when necessary to confirm accessibility and proper site preparation. Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely service. Ensure proper use of moving equipment, tools, and handling techniques to prevent product or property damage. Monitor delivery quality standards and ensure crews maintain professionalism at all customer locations. Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated delivery and installation concerns. Ensure prompt, professional communication regarding warehouse pickups, repairs, deliveries, and scheduling updates. Support initiatives that improve customer satisfaction, retention, and overall service experience. Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, staging, inventory control, and shipping. Ensure accurate inventory transfers and maintain inventory integrity across all locations. Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with company safety standards. Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and product condition. Coordinate facility maintenance and work with third-party vendors on repairs, inspections, fire compliance, weights and measures, and other operational needs. Oversee company fleet operations, including trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment. Schedule and track routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and registrations to ensure DOT and safety compliance. Maintain accurate fleet records, including mileage, fuel usage, service history, and compliance documentation. Coordinate vehicle scheduling to maximize delivery efficiency and minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, fleet management, delivery operations, or team leadership preferred. Strong leadership, coaching, and team management abilities. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Proven experience working in a hands-on operational environment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of DOT regulations, fleet compliance, and safe driving practices. Experience with inventory systems, scheduling software, GPS, and fleet management tools. Ability to manage priorities across multiple departments and locations. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
