In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our warehouse facilities and the food truck once it returns to the commissary each night. Your efforts will ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for staff, customers, and visitors alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial or custodial experience to contribute to a fast-paced, vibrant setting while honing their cleaning skills. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of warehouse areas, including floors, drains, and equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Maintain the cleanliness of the food truck by sanitizing surfaces, cooking equipment, and interior/exterior of food truck. Conduct routine commercial cleaning tasks such as hood cleaning, draining fryers, and detailing food truck. Follow established cleaning procedures to uphold sanitation standards specific to food service environments. Inspect work areas regularly to identify maintenance needs or potential safety hazards and report them promptly. Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively to ensure efficient operations during evening hours. Assist in organizing storage areas and ensuring all cleaning tools are properly maintained and stored. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services is preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards applicable to food service environments. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness throughout the shift. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently.
