218105070 Job Description OXARC has been providing welding and industrial supplies, as well as, medical and specialty gases since 1968. OXARC is headquartered in Spokane, Washington with 23 stores in WA, ID and OR. 

Job Summary:

Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products. Receive and process incoming and outgoing freight/shipments according to established procedures.

Duties include:

Pull and check in stock transfers and auto freight; ensure all small parts are boxed and barcoded. Check in UPS shipments; pull orders, prepare and ship outgoing UPS orders. Stock aisles. Pull salesmen's orders as necessary. Prepare and shrink-wrap pallets for transfers. Field phone calls to warehouse. Maintain all warehouse, office and parts storage areas in safe, clean and orderly condition at all times. Keep docks clean and organized. Assist production and logistics departments in preparation, loading, unloading and shipping of cylinder orders. Provide counter and store service as needed to customers via in-person, phone, and fax, selling industrial, medical and specialty gases, welding equipment, safety and other supplies to customers.

Requirements include:

6 months related experience is a plus. Forklift Certified is a plus. A working knowledge of safety principles and techniques. Ability to work independently, establish priorities and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision. Effective oral and written communication skills and basic customer service experience, training skills for in person, verbal and written training objectives. Must be organized, have good reasoning skills, math aptitude and time management skills. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet use. Drug screen and background check required.

Salary Range:

Expected hiring salary is $21.00 (The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $21.00/hr.-$30.00/hr.)
