Warehouse Associate

Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Willingness to learn and be teachable
• Receive, unload and inspect incoming shipments
• Drive company vehicles to pick up / drop off parts
• Pick, Pack and prepare orders for shipment
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, lifts, and pallet jacks
• Maintain and assist with cycle counts and inventory
• Load and unload trucks and containers
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Keep warehouse clean and free of Hazards
• Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move heavy material regularly
• Ability to operate a Forklift
• Basic computer and inventory knowledge
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with industrial or heavy equipment parts and attachments
• knowledge of shipping, receiving and inventory procedures
• Familiarity with scrap, recycling or industrial equipment
• Mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge

Pay:

$19.50 per hour
