Warehouse Associate

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to run the receiving, shipping, and inventory side of our Commerce plant. You take in materials, you stage them, you pack and crate finished millwork, and you ship it out the door with the right paperwork. When the shipping side runs clean, the plant runs clean. When it does not, everything backs up. This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, reliable, and not afraid of a busy dock.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

— Receive incoming materials: sheet goods, hardwood, hardware, finishes, and specialty items. Check quantities, condition, and paperwork against purchase orders. — Stage and store inventory in an organized, FIFO-friendly way. The shop should be able to find what it needs without asking. — Pack, crate, blanket-wrap, and load finished millwork for shipment. Casework breaks expensively if you pack it wrong. — Prepare and verify shipping documents: bills of lading, packing lists, delivery tickets, and freight paperwork. — Coordinate with freight carriers and LTL drivers on pickups, deliveries, and load timing. — Assist with inventory cycle counts, stock adjustments, and basic inventory tracking in Excel. — Operate forklift, pallet jack, and material handling equipment safely. (If you are not certified yet, we will get you certified.) — Keep the warehouse, dock, and material yard clean, organized, and safe. — Flag short shipments, damaged materials, and quality issues to the Plant Supervisor before they become bigger problems. — Help the production team find materials, pull items, and stage jobs when they need a hand.

WHAT YOU BRING

— 2 to 4 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience. Manufacturing or construction-side warehouse experience preferred. — Working knowledge of shipping documents: BOLs, packing lists, and freight paperwork. — Basic computer skills. Comfortable with Excel, email, and label printers. — Strong attention to detail. Wrong counts and wrong paperwork cost real money. — Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, stand/walk all day, and handle awkward loads with help. — Reliable. You show up on time, every day, and the dock runs on schedule. — Safe operator of pallet jacks, hand trucks, and material handling equipment.

NICE TO HAVE

— Forklift certification. — Experience packing or crating millwork, casework, fixtures, or other oversized commercial goods. — Background working with LTL freight, white-glove delivery, or jobsite delivery coordination. — Experience with ERP or inventory systems used in custom manufacturing. — Bilingual English / Spanish.

THE SETUP LOCATION

WeBuild Global Millwork Plant, Commerce, GA. On-site role.

SCHEDULE

Full-time, day shift, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime when ship dates demand it.

COMPENSATION

$18 to $24 per hour, depending on experience.
