Warehouse / Blending Operator

Overview The Warehouse / Blending Operator is responsible for executing daily warehouse activities at our Jefferson, IA facility. This is a hands-on role focused on seed blending and packaging, receiving inbound shipments, preparing outbound orders, and loading customers. The Warehouse Operator plays a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining an organized facility, and fulfilling customer orders accurately and on time. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work independently while supporting a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, and verify inbound seed shipments against packing lists Load and prepare outbound shipments, ensuring orders are accurate and completed within timing expectations Mix and package seed blends according to detailed instructions Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup Assist customers with loading and serve as a point of contact during pickup Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment Assist with inventory tracking, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records Identify and communicate discrepancies related to inventory, orders, or shipments Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe working environment Support overall warehouse operations and assist with additional tasks as needed Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must have a valid driver's license and forklift experience is preferred Must be able to move/lift 60 lbs minimum and perform physical labor Able to work in a warehouse environment where some dust is present Able to relocate or reliably commute to Jefferson, IA Ability to work long hours during seasonal peak (primarily August - October) Prior experience in warehouse operations, agriculture, or similar role is beneficial Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to contribute to a team environment

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
