Job Description

Overview SNF is a specialty chemical group whose products, water-soluble polymers, contribute to treating, recycling, preserving water, saving energy, and reducing carbon footprint. Innovation and movement toward a cleaner, less carbon-intensive world accelerates SNF's growth. The Warehouse Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining and distributing equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, and tools, as well as compiling stock and inventory records in the storeroom. The Clerk's essential role is to ensure smooth storeroom operations and maintain organized and clean stockrooms and warehouses. Responsibilities Provides coverage for the Sign Out Window during operational hours. Records outgoing material transactions in a SAP database. Examine weekly stock amounts on bolt bin and consumable items and report to the Inventory Control Coordinator for reorders. Performs monthly Cycle counts as systemically generated by our proprietary warehouse/distribution management system. Assemble material kits for projects and production orders from the BOM issued by the Planning Coordinator. Prepare Made to Stock polymer units for shipping. Cross-train with the Inventory Control Coordinator on receiving shipments, accurately verifying transactions, and stocking inventory in the correct locations. Ability to be trained and operate a forklift. Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to the Storeroom Supervisor. Follow all company policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Qualifications
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent•is required.
EXPERIENCE
2 Years•of warehouse inventory or storeroom experience is required, preferably in a manufacturing plant.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Able to work Monday through Friday (8:00A•5:00P) during the week. Good communication skills (verbal & written) in correspondence with vendors, contractors, managers, etc. Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and work ethic, seeking continual improvement. This position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Ability to collaborate with different groups. Computer proficiency in MS Office Software Applications.
