Job Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient quality control, production flow, and minimal downtime.
Shift:
Monday•Thursday 6:00am•4:30pm
Starting Rate:
$20.50•$22.00/hr Minimum of 3 years of experience as an operator on automated machinery preferred High school diploma or GED required Basic understanding of electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficient in
Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint within the first 6 months Ability to communicate effectively to employees and management. Must obtain Lift Truck Operator (LTO) license at Rheem Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet Operate and monitor automated machinery in a safe and efficient manner Perform machine set-ups, changeovers, and adjustments as needed Ensure machines are operating efficiently and producing quality products Interface with Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to control and monitor the machine Support troubleshooting efforts by providing detailed feedback on machine issues and upset conditions Follow standard operating procedures (SOPS) of equipment Perform basic preventive maintenance on machinery Assist team members during repairs and equipment upgrades Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis activities Demonstrate Rheem's core values: listening to understand, contributing respectfully, thinking creatively, acting with responsibility Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers Build and maintain effective working relationships through collaboration and timely communication Contribute to a positive team environment by having a team-oriented mindset and supporting others Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor
