Job Description

About Rite Stuff Foods:
Rite Stuff Foods is a rapidly expanding, leading specialty potato product manufacturer in the United States. We offer a growing range of tasty side dishes and finger foods that include twice baked potatoes, potato skins, battered and breaded wedges, fried and filled skins, breakfast bites, potato rollers, extruded products, and a whole new line of items between R&D and Production. Rite Stuff Foods' parent company, Frostkrone, is located in Rietberg, Germany and has affiliated operations throughout Europe. The Company is successfully expanding its sales organization worldwide and is keen on developing and producing new product ideas every day. The Warehouse Manager reports directly to the Head of Operations.
Responsibilities:
Direct the warehouse operation to monitor inventory, shipping, receiving, cost control, and quality performance; ensures appropriate receipt and record keeping of inventory. Maintain physical condition of warehouse by inspecting equipment, predicting failures, evaluating inefficient processes and troubleshooting. Issue work orders or requisitions for expenditures. Draft any required capital requests and manage any approved capital projects Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems; responsible for monthly closing process with the finance team Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures Adhere to warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements Maintain standards of health, safety, and hygiene Supervise, schedule, and assign employees, follow up on work results, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees Subject Matter Expert for in-house inventory software; review and adjust (as needed) daily records for production and consumption to ensure ongoing accuracy. Manage the annual external audit for success
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred Minimum of 3+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably within food and/or food manufacturing Strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage, develop, and motivate multiple teams across locations Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and food safety standards (e.g., GMPs, HACCP) Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse-related technologies Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between multiple warehouse locations as needed Preferred Qualifications Certification in forklift operation and other material handling equipment Experience managing cold storage or refrigerated warehouse environments Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies Prior experience in the frozen food industry Fluent or advanced level English. Knowledgeable in Spanish is an advantage but not required.
