Job Description

Position Overview:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and distributing goods at RTH Mechanical, an E.M. Duggan Company. This role manages warehouse staff, monitors inventory levels, ensures timely delivery of materials, maintains safety standards, and collaborates with other departments to support company operations. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and committed to maintaining an efficient, safe, and productive warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities to ensure smooth operations Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of materials and goods Order supplies and maintain accurate inventory levels Check incoming and outgoing orders, inventory, bills, and deliveries for accuracy Maintain proper records and documentation for inventory and deliveries Perform daily warehouse inspections and ensure upkeep and organization Productivity & Reporting Manage and evaluate warehouse productivity, identifying opportunities for improvement Report on operational metrics and challenges to management as needed Ensure timely preparation of any required documentation or reports Fleet & Equipment Coordination Oversee the coordination and maintenance of vehicles and warehouse equipment Ensure equipment operates safely and effectively and report any maintenance issues Cross Departmental Communication Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure fulfillment of material needs Support interdepartmental projects and logistics coordination as required
Safety Responsibilities:
Champion and uphold corporate safety standards across all assigned job sites Execute routine safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate safety risks; implement corrective actions in real time Verify field personnel are trained, equipped, and consistently utilizing required personal protective equipment (PPE) Partner with the Safety Department to roll out safety initiatives, monitor compliance metrics, and support incident investigations Demonstrate leadership by modeling and reinforcing a zero compromise, safety first culture at all levels of field operations
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a related leadership role Strong organizational and time management skills Effective communication with drivers, staff, and management Ability to multi-task and lead in a fast-paced environment Strong self-motivation and problem-solving skills Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities Team-oriented and collaborative approach to work Proficiency in inventory software or warehouse management systems preferred
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise. Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying materials. Regular use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and carts. You must adhere to all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Occasional outdoor work may be required during material deliveries or job site preparation. Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

$70,000.00 per year
