About the role Reporting to the Planning & Warehouse Director, the incumbent of this position will be responsible for managing and optimizing all activities related to Warehousing and Material Handling on all shifts at the site. In scope, the position could manage internal Haleon warehouse, internal Haleon off-site warehouse and/or oversight of 3rd party managed warehouse. Role Responsibilities Responsible to ensure safely and on-time delivery of materials to production lines in support of daily production plan. Ensures a privileged link between the site and transportation suppliers and regional support teams to ensure the on-time availability of equipment to support inbound and outbound site operations. Supports commercial launch of new products and product transfers in addition to represent Site on various regional or external (CMO) committees/task forces related to warehousing. Evaluates and implements when appropriate, all SAP systems enhancements to maximize inventory control and utilization of storage onsite and offsite including maintenance/updates of warehouse related system parameters. Maintains on-time disposition of materials developing and implementing effective controls and procedures. Coordinate with the appropriate departments leads (Planning, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Technical, Engineering and Finance) the timely resolution of issues impeding the disposition of materials at the warehouse. Drives the escalation to senior management of potential supply issues related to transportation, material storage, disposition and/or control that could put at risk the production plan. Manage all inbound and outbound activities for materials and finished goods ensuring they are received, stored, and shipped in a timely manner in compliance with their requirements. Manage the overall operation of the facility (onsite, offsite) which includes insuring safety, proper building and equipment maintenance, security and sanitation. Manage and monitor compliance with GMP, OSHA, FM, DEA and DOT. Manage inventory exceptions and ensure the physical inventory is in line with the perpetual (book) inventory. This includes following Haleon cycle count policy and disposing of any material requiring external shipping from onsite warehouse and/or any offsite warehouses. Keeps alignment to the process and provides data for the tiered accountability meetings within the area and on site. Following through on resulting actions in a timely fashion Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree, preferably in relevant disciplines (Business, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Management related field). Five to ten years of experience in Distribution and warehousing fields with a minimum of three to five years of supervisory of management experience. Excellent measurement, data analysis, MERP/SAP and related PC program skills in conjunction with a general knowledge of warehouse management systems. At least 2 years of experience as a team leader/manager level in an FDA regulated environment preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems (SAP), delivery of improvement initiatives and implementation of KPI's that resulted in both financial and non-financial benefits. Preferred Qualifications Certified in Production and Inventory Management, CPIM (Preferred) Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certified (Preferred) The salary range for this role is: $101,948 to $140,178.50 plus 12% Performance Bonus.
