Required as needed Position Overview Milgard Windows & Doors is seeking an experienced and dependable Receiver II to support our Pultrusion operations in Fife, WA. This role plays a critical function in managing inbound materials, ensuring accurate inventory transactions, and supporting material flow for production. This is a more advanced receiving position requiring strong forklift skills, solid computer proficiency, and the ability to manage material movement efficiently and independently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and shipping documentation Operate forklifts (required) to unload trucks and move large material bundles safely and efficiently Handle inbound materials and organize pultrusion bundles for proper storage and distribution Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and escalate issues as needed Accurately enter receipts and track materials in the inventory system Label, store, and rotate inventory in accordance with FIFO (First In, First Out) standards Support material movement between receiving, storage, and production areas Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving and warehouse area Proactively stay engaged during downtime by organizing materials or supporting adjacent operations Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements at all times Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of warehouse or receiving experience preferred Forklift operation is required (experience unloading trucks and handling large materials) Strong basic computer skills and experience with inventory or ERP systems preferred Solid math skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast‑paced environment Reliable, safety‑focused, and team‑oriented Willingness to work overtime as needed to support business demands Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift Ability to safely operate forklifts for extended periods Comfortable working in a physically active, industrial environment Work Environment Manufacturing and warehouse setting with Pultrusion operations Regular forklift use and heavy material handling Combination of indoor and outdoor exposure PPE required at all times Why Join Milgard Competitive pay for skilled warehouse professionals Stable, full‑time day shift schedule Critical role supporting internal manufacturing operations Opportunities for growth within MITER Brands What We Offer Our benefits package includes coverage of your health, wealth, and wellness for you and your eligible spouse/dependents.
