Warehouse Specialist
Job DescriptionA leading telecommunications vendor provides full turnkey solutions across both wireless and wireline sectors throughout the DMV and East Coast regions. The organization supports major carriers as well as state-level projects.
Due to continued network expansion and increased demand, t is a need for strong logistics and material coordination within warehouse operations. This role will support a warehouse location and will be responsible for inventory management, material coordination with project teams, and overall organization of equipment and supplies.
This is a standalone role requiring strong ownership of warehouse operations, coordination with field teams, and accurate tracking of materials across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly inventory counts and audits within the inventory management system
- Receive daily material requests from project managers and prepare materials for field crews
- Pick, stage, and organize materials for both aerial and underground crews
- Communicate with project managers and foremen to track daily material usage and transfers
- Maintain organization of all materials, ensuring clear labeling and accurate identification
- Track and transfer materials to the appropriate projects within the inventory system
- Manage daily check-in/check-out of materials
- Serve as the primary point of contact for urgent or additional material needs
- Maintain overall warehouse and yard organization in coordination with team members
- Operate or learn to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or front-end loadersTop Skills Required
- 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics (experience with construction or telecom materials preferred
- Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills across cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of responsibilities in a standalone roleRequirements
- Experience working in a Microsoft environment; familiarity with inventory systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) preferredAdditional Qualifications
