• TEKsystems is in need of a Warehouse Specialist for our client in the DMV market! This client is one of the largest Telecommunication Vendors in DMV.
• With the massive expansion of telecommunication networks, and overall capacity initiatives, they are busier than ever. In order to keep up with the immense demand, they need to have a very solid logistics process for material procurement.
• So we are looking for a Specialist to support their warehouse (Perry Hall).
• They will be in charge of keeping inventory, coordinating with project managers for reserved materials, labeling, organizing, coordination with vendors for receiving, and ultimately owning the duties in the warehouse.
• Current opening is due to inventory issues and no dedicated resource to provide oversight/coordination.

• Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monthly inventory counts and audit of dynamics.
• PM to email inventory specialist what each crew needs material-wise for the following day.
• Pick needed materials and place in designated spot, for each foreman (aerial and underground).
• Be able to communicate with PM's and foreman on what material is used daily to transfer materials.
• Maintain the organization of material and ensure material item numbers are visible and readable.
• Transfer material to the correct project in dynamics. Work with PM's for project numbers. (Computer skills necessary)
• Check out and check in material daily.
• Main point of contact for any additional material needed daily for jobs.
• Willingness to learn fork lift/front end loader equipment. Current training a plus.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
