Full Job Description Work Schedule:

7am-3:30pm. Monday Thru Friday Why Join Emmi Desserts Position Summary The Warehouse Supervisor at Emmi Desserts is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Warehouse supervisors leads the inventory management process and inventory staff, ensuring inventory accuracy, effective controls, and continuous improvement across all warehouse locations. This role ensures accurate and timely execution of all warehouse activities related to raw materials and finished goods, while maintaining compliance with Food Safety, BRC, GMP, and company SOPs . This position works closely with the Logistics Supervisor to support material flow, production needs, and customer shipments, ensuring operational efficiency and high service levels. Key Responsibilities 1. Warehouse Operations Execution Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping Ensure all customer orders are accurately built, staged, and shipped on time Oversee dock activities and ensure efficient loading/unloading of trucks Support coordination of inbound and outbound schedules with Logistics Supervisor 2. Inventory Control & Accuracy Lead the inventory management process and inventory staff, setting standards for accuracy, controls, and accountability Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP/VAI systems Lead cycle counts and support quarterly physical inventories Ensure strict adherence to FEFO rotation and lot traceability Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, and OS&D Develop and improve inventory control procedures to support operational efficiency and audit readiness Train and coach staff on inventory best practices, system usage, and compliance requirements 3. Material Flow & Production Support Coordinate movement of materials between internal warehouses, and production areas Ensure timely movement of raw materials and finished goods between locations Support proper segregation of Allergen vs non-allergen materials in compliance with BRC, extremely important 4. Team Supervision & Development Supervise warehouse associates, forklift operators, and material handlers Train, coach, and evaluate employee performance Ensure proper certification for equipment use (forklifts, pallet jacks) Promote a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement Implement Best Practices across NY and NJ sites 5. Compliance, Safety & Quality Enforce all GMP, BRC, and food safety regulations Ensure compliance with all Receiving and Shipping SOPs Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and freezer areas Monitor temperature compliance for frozen and refrigerated products Support incident reporting and corrective actions 6. Documentation & Process Control Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is accurate and complete (BOLs, PODs, COAs) Maintain proper recordkeeping for audits and compliance Support SOP implementation and continuous process improvements Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required 3+ years of warehouse experience in food or manufacturing environment 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems (S2K /VAI ideal but not mandatory Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) ability to perform Vlookup, and basic data manipulation. Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment Travel required within NY and NJ sites Bilingual Spanish preferred Core Competencies Attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication skills (internal & external) Problem-solving and decision-making ability Professional attitude and responsiveness Working Conditions / Physical Requirements Ability to work in freezer environments below -10°F for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting Exposure to loud warehouse environment Flexibility to work multiple shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Order accuracy (%) Inventory accuracy (%) On-time shipment performance Picking productivity (cases/hour) Safety incidents / compliance rate Warehouse organization & audit readiness
