Warehouse Supervisor White House, TN 37188 $29.69 - $37.02 an hour - Full-time $29.69 - $37.02 an hour - Full-time Role Overview We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily logistics and operations at our manufacturing facility in White House, TN. In this capacity, you will guide our warehouse staff to ensure seamless shipping, receiving, and inventory management, all while optimizing material flow to meet production demands. Your focus will be on fostering a culture of safety, precision, and operational excellence as you drive continuous improvement across all warehouse functions. Core Duties Direct all warehouse activities, encompassing logistics, material handling, and the management of shipping and receiving processes. Support team success by delegating tasks, evaluating performance, and providing the mentorship needed to meet productivity targets. Oversee the flow of inbound and outbound freight to guarantee that customer expectations for accuracy and delivery timelines are met. Help maintain precise stock records by conducting regular cycle counts, audits, and necessary inventory reconciliations. Leverage ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to accurately monitor transactions, stock levels, and shipment data. Facilitate the smooth movement of materials to ensure production schedules remain on track and inventory is always available. Manage the intake, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure the facility remains well-stocked and organized. Track key performance indicators such as shipping speed and inventory accuracy to help the team achieve higher operational standards. Uphold a secure workplace by strictly enforcing safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and internal operational standards. Improve overall facility productivity by refining warehouse layouts and streamlining material handling workflows. Work alongside production, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive support for all operational needs. Resolve inventory variances and shipping errors by identifying root causes and implementing effective long-term solutions. Contribute to operational growth by actively participating in and supporting continuous improvement projects. Develop the team by providing comprehensive training and onboarding for new staff regarding safety and system protocols. Ensure the facility remains in top condition by maintaining a clean, orderly, and audit-ready environment at all times. Required Qualifications Possess at least three years of leadership experience in logistics, inventory, or shipping/receiving within a manufacturing setting. Demonstrated history of successfully supervising or leading teams in a warehouse environment. Proficiency in utilizing ERP platforms and WMS software to manage inventory and warehouse data. Comprehensive knowledge of logistics, material flow, and standard warehouse operational procedures. Proven ability to manage material movement and execute detailed inventory audits to ensure data integrity. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards to help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team. Strong problem-solving and communication skills to effectively manage daily challenges and team coordination. Ability to thrive in a high-speed manufacturing setting while balancing competing priorities. Competency in Microsoft Office and reporting software to assist in data-driven decision-making. Prior experience or certification in forklift operation is highly preferred.
